# Kelateh

> Kelateh is an independent guide to Kelantan, in the northeast of Malaysia: its food, places, sound and stories. "The Living Wau", told by the people who live there, in English, Bahasa Melayu, Thai and Chinese.

Kelateh is editorial and Muslim-friendly (all content and imagery are halal-screened). It is published by Salaam Suites Sdn Bhd and connects travellers to the Salaam Suites family of Muslim-friendly hotels in Kota Bharu. Content is organised around six cultural zones (Rasa/food, Bunyi/sound, Cerita/stories, Alam/nature, Buat/craft, Jalan/journeys), but page URLs use plain geo-keyword slugs for clarity.
